Millenáris – From an industrial citadel to a modern jewel box in downtown Buda

(1024 Budapest, Kis Rókus utca 16-20.)

In 2001, the 7-hectare Millenáris opened its doors as a real jewel box in Buda. The monumental buildings of the former industrial giant, the Ganz factory, interwoven with the modern metropolitan environment created a unique atmosphere that quickly became a favourite of many. With its buildings and park areas, which have been renovated in recent years, it has almost imperceptibly transformed into the perfect venue for team-building sessions, fashion shows, professional conferences, cultural events, scientific exhibitions, outdoor concerts or any other event. Millenáris is a place close to people and nature, where shared experiences will always be memorable.

Great Hall – Building B

The largest building of Millenáris, with a special atmosphere and an industrial feel, it preserves the architectural style of the former Ganz assembly hall. It is a unique venue for large-scale exhibitions, corporate events with a large number of attendees, gala dinners and conferences.

Cloisters – Building C

The space linking the Great Hall and the Glass Hall has many possibilities. The ground floor is mainly used for the reception of guests, while the upstairs spaces are suitable for separate receptions, press conferences and smaller events, and are enhanced by a separate terrace with its own entrance.

Glass Hall – Building D

The huge glass façade overlooking the park and lakefront creates the loft-like atmosphere of a former factory hall. Suitable for conferences, receptions, exhibitions and concerts, the venue is lit by natural light. Two section rooms can be used for small workshops, round tables and press conferences.

National Dance Theatre – Building E

The imposing wood-clad canopy over the park, the wide terrace and the steel-framed glass surface are a continuation of the park. The interior event space retains the character of the former industrial complex, combining it with state-of-the-art theatre technology. The built-in auditorium can be extended or furnished with other furniture. In addition to the main auditorium, there is a small auditorium, two rehearsal rooms, a chamber room and a service room.

Inn – Building G

Located in the heart of Millenáris, this building is a popular venue for family and children’s programmes, cultural and business events and concerts. On the ground floor there is a built-in stage and event area, information desk, cloakroom and buffet area. There is a separate entrance to the gallery, which can be separated by a mobile wall.
