Pesti Vigadó

In the heart of the capital, the stately Pesti Vigadó is a new colour on the Budapest event location palette. The Vigadó, built in 1865, designed by Frigyes Feszl used to house definitive cultural and social events of its time. The renewed, and enlarged building celebrated its re-opening on 14 March, 2014, promoted by Hungary’s public body for arts, Hungarian Art Academy. In its new era, Vigadó invites its visitors for a wide range of exhibitions, as well as music and theatrical performances.
The lustrous Reception Hall and the ground floor Foyer are perfect as additional or reception areas for events (such as registration, welcome reception, standing reception). On the second floor of the building there is the Ceremonial Hall which is a unique room in Budapest. It is a masterpiece of interior design that serves as a perfect backdrop for seated and standing receptions, gala dinners.
Its built-in equipment provides high quality services in the organisation of conferences, concerts. The capacity of the hall, in case of catering services may be extended by using further spaces of the Northern and Southern Halls, as well as the Panorama Corridor, facing the river Danube.
The Northern Hall, adjacent to the Ceremonial Hall may be used as a section room of conferences, press conferences, wine dinners. The Southern Hall is a possible location for smaller seated receptions, partner parties, chamber music concerts. The Panorama Corridor, connecting the Northern and the Southern Halls offers a wonderful view over the Danube and the Buda Castle.
