Hungarian Railway History Park

The first railway history park of Europe is a unique and special event location, unparalleled all over the world. The Hungarian Railway History Park is located in Budapest, in the XIV. district, at Tatai Road 95. It is suitable for company events, receptions, family days and other gatherings to be organised in an extravagant environment. Besides all, our special services, such as fireworks from a steam engine, smashing of the gate with a locomotive, candle-lit walks in the park make events at us unforgettable.
The area of the Park is such that any event is possible, without any limitations or restrictions concerning timing or noise. As an alternative access route we recommend taking the Nostalgia Train from Nyugati railway station that arrives right in the Park.

Kandó-room
Kandó room is located a few metres from the main entrance of the Park. This room offers air-conditioning, beamer and internet access, therefore is ideal for mini-conferences and presentations.
Capacity of Kandó room is 40 people.

Orient hall
Orient hall, that opens from the main building is one of the largest one-space, heated event halls in Budapest, measuring a gross 3,000 square metres. Iron traverses built on the ceiling make it possible to install sound and light equipment, as well as applying special visual and decorative elements.
Capacity of Orient hall in case of a seated event: 1,500 people, in case of standing reception, conference or concert 2,500 people.
The area may be divided by elegant railway diners or gigantic steam engines, thus providing separate areas within one event, or making it more cosy for smaller gatherings.

Outdoor areas
From spring to autumn there is a possibility to hold outdoor events too, in the area of the Park. The well-maintained park, paths and playground are a perfect venue for family events and weddings.
As and additional service, the event guests may enjoy a ride on a great locomotive, try the engine turn table, enjoy the garden from our mini railway, or compete in the race in a pump trolley.
